Leslie Love is a 37-year-old daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, friend, Christian, educator, artist, homeowner, animal lover, American car driver, and a Democrat.
As a daughter of Detroit, Leslie was raised on the city’s working class northwest side and attended public schools. Throughout her life she has lived, worked and been active in various social justice, civic, political, educational, and artistic endeavors locally and internationally.
Leslie Love is a candidate for State Representative in House District 8 in Detroit. District 8’s boundaries include 8 Mile Rd to the north; Lyndon to the South; as far west as Ferguson and as far east as Woodingham.
